Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey welcome baby 2 after a wild journey
The parents of two celebrated a second daughter while reflecting on the intense emotional path that brought them to this point.
Kaley Cuoco and her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey. The couple announced the arrival on Instagram on Wednesday, October 14, sharing the first photos of the newborn and confirming she arrived on Monday, October 12, 2026.
Writing on Instagram, Cuoco revealed her newborn’s nickname is “Philo” alongside pictures of the growing family. The actress celebrated the new addition and paid tribute to her fiancé.
“There are no words to describe this feeling once again. What a blessing . We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo! Family officially complete Time to bring Matilda’s baby home! @tommypelphrey life exploded the minute we met, and the gifts keep coming. I love you forever , girl daddy!” Cuoco wrote.
Tom Pelphrey praises his partner
Pelphrey shared additional photos of the newborn directly on his own Instagram account, expressing gratitude to Cuoco and celebrating their growing family.
“Another miracle. Welcome to our family youngest queen! Kaley you showed up in every way as a partner and a mom even when you weren’t feeling your best- you’re a CHAMPION. The girls and I would be lost without you. ♥️ Thank God for the gift of this family and these girls.” Pelphrey wrote in his post.
Friends and fellow stars quickly reacted to the social media posts. On Cuoco’s post, producer and writer Gary Janetti commented, “CONGRATULATIONS!!! ❤️❤️❤️” Actor Christopher Backus also sent well wishes on Pelphrey’s post, writing, “Congrats you two! @kaleycuoco”.
A romance and family timeline
The baby’s arrival marks the couple’s second daughter together. Cuoco and Pelphrey first met at the Ozark premiere in April 2022 before going public with their romance in May 2022, according to reports confirmed by Us Weekly. They welcomed their first daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, on March 30, 2023.
In August 2024, Cuoco announced their engagement on Instagram Stories. Cuoco later shared the news that she was expecting their second child via Instagram on June 10, 2026.
The arrival follows a major award milestone for Pelphrey just one month ago. On September 14, 2026, the actor won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Task at the Emmy Awards, thanking Cuoco, daughter Matilda, and their unborn baby girl directly from the stage.
What we don’t know yet
While the couple shared their daughter’s birth date and full name, they have not publicly confirmed Philomena’s birth weight or the hospital where she was born. Cuoco and Pelphrey have also not shared a wedding date following their 2024 engagement.
