Bonnie Wright welcomes second baby with Andrew Lococo and reveals his name
The Harry Potter alum introduced her newborn son on social media after choosing a moniker inspired by the natural world.
Bonnie Wright and her husband, Andrew Lococo, have welcomed their second child together. The British actress and filmmaker, best known for playing Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter film series, announced the arrival of a baby boy on Instagram on Saturday, October 17.
A home birth and a floral name
Wright revealed that their son, Aster Sky Wright Lococo, was born at home on September 28, 2026. The announcement on her Instagram account was reported by outlets including Just Jared and US Magazine.
Alongside the announcement, Wright posted family photographs to introduce the newborn. The pictures included a photo of the baby resting on her chest, a photo of Lococo pushing a stroller, and a photo of older brother Elio looking into the stroller.
“Say hello to our son Aster Sky Wright Lococo born at home on the 28th September named after the star shaped flower,” Wright wrote in her post, as reported by Just Jared.
She also expressed her appreciation for her birth team, writing, “And thank you @umamother @meaghan_snider_ for guiding us through the birth portal.”
Growing their family
The arrival of baby Aster marks the second child for the couple. Wright and Lococo welcomed their first child, son Elio Ocean Wright Lococo, on September 19, 2023.
Big brother Elio has already begun spending time with the newborn. “Our little star has been showered in love by his big brother Elio,” Wright wrote in her announcement, as reported by US Magazine. She added, “Thank you universe for my loving bundle of boys!”
Wedding and pregnancy timeline
Wright and Lococo have been married for several years. The couple married in an outdoor ceremony at The Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano, California, in March 2022.
Wright previously announced that she was expecting her second child on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, writing on Instagram, “Two babies on my lap 🐣 our second little earthling joining us this autumn!!”
