Bethenny Frankel Andy Cohen Bravo Fan Fest feud flared over a panel jab

A casual question about returning to Housewives prompted an onstage quip from the executive that Bethenny refused to let slide.

Bethenny Frankel fired back at Andy Cohen on social media after the Bravo executive took a swipe at her online presence during a panel at Bravo Fan Fest in North Charleston, South Carolina. The television personality posted a direct response on TikTok and Instagram on Saturday, October 24, addressing Cohen’s onstage comment regarding her potential return to reality television, as reported by Us Weekly and Reality Blurb.

The exchange started on Saturday, October 24, when an audience member asked whether Frankel would ever return to The Real Housewives of New York City. Cohen appeared on stage alongside former cast member Carole Radziwill, who spoke first about the possibility.

Radziwill, whose close friendship with Frankel deteriorated on camera before Radziwill departed RHONY after Season 10 in 2018, made it clear she was out of the loop. “If she has, I haven’t heard anything. I haven’t spoken to her in many many years. I mean I don’t know if she can come back, that is way above my paygrade. That’s Andy’s…” Radziwill told the crowd.

Cohen then stepped in with a brief response. “I’m not really active on TikTok,” Cohen told the audience.

Bethenny Frankel responds directly

Frankel quickly posted a video across her social platforms to answer the remark. Alongside an Instagram caption that read, “Minding my own business and I get sucker punched… if you’re gonna take a shot at this B…”, Frankel spoke directly into the camera about the convention moment.

“Well Andy Cohen took a swipe at me on a panel so let’s take the bait,” Frankel said. “Which is abundantly clear because he’s still sitting in the same place I left him. The only thing that has changed are the ratings.”

Frankel referenced former RHONY stars appearing on the E! series The Golden Life, which premiered on October 20, 2026. She argued that while Cohen was bitter about losing original cast members who are thriving elsewhere, he remained tied to Bravo waiting for his paycheck while former cast members were earning their own money on their own terms.

Frankel closed the video with a direct warning: “If you’re gonna take a shot at this B, you better not miss. You’re welcome.”

A long-running rift

The confrontation marks the latest chapter in an increasingly public feud. Frankel, who starred on RHONY from Seasons 1 through 3 and again from Seasons 7 through 11, launched a public campaign in 2023 calling for reality television performers to unionize and seek better protections and residuals from networks like Bravo.

In November 2023 on her ReWives podcast, Frankel criticized Cohen for reacting dismissively to allegations against Bravo and condemned his BravoCon appearance that year. Earlier in 2026, Cohen referred to Frankel as the “margarita lady” and described her frequent social media posts as suffocating.

Neither Cohen nor Bravo has publicly commented on Frankel’s video response. Online fans remain divided over the dispute: some defended Cohen by arguing that he gave Frankel her platform and questioned whether the remark was intended as an insult, while others praised Frankel for making her own way outside the Bravo system.
