How the Kylie Jenner Victoria’s Secret fashion show fantasy bra was born
A secret partnership ended an eight-year hiatus for the runway centerpiece, bringing thousands of diamonds to Los Angeles under strict creative vision.
Kylie Jenner made an unannounced runway debut at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Sunday, October 18, in Los Angeles, California. The reality television star and businesswoman walked the catwalk wearing expansive feathered angel wings, a gauzy white miniskirt, and the brand’s revived Fantasy Bra.
Watching from the front row, boyfriend Timothée Chalamet cheered stage side alongside Jenner’s mother, Kris Jenner, and Corey Gamble. According to Harper’s Bazaar and The Mirror, Chalamet was filmed clapping with an open smile while wearing sunglasses as Jenner passed by. Kris Jenner also cheered enthusiastically throughout the walk.
A sparkling runway return
The 2026 Fantasy Bra was created in collaboration with New York jewelry house Jacob & Co., led by founder Jacob Arabo. The piece features more than 4,400 diamonds surrounding a 75.54-carat Fancy Vivid yellow center stone valued by the jeweler at $22 million.
“I wanted to create the most expensive Fantasy Bra ever made, but value alone was never enough,” Arabo said in a statement reported by Who What Wear. “For me, it had to be about the diamonds, the light, and the movement.”
While widespread reports and estimated valuations describe the total garment as worth $50 million, Victoria’s Secret has not released an official public price tag for the complete finished piece.
Kendall Jenner sits out the Los Angeles show
The showcase marked the return of the Fantasy Bra after an eight-year hiatus. The item last appeared on the runway in 2018, when model Elsa Hosk wore an Atelier Swarovski design valued at $1 million.
Sunday’s presentation, themed “Fandemonium,” brought the event back to Los Angeles for the first time in 19 years. “It’s the city of angels!” Adam Selman, Victoria’s Secret executive vice president and chief creative officer, told W Magazine.
Selman also addressed Jenner’s surprise appearance, telling Vogue and Elle: “Kylie really extends beyond fashion, beyond culture, beyond TV, beyond one singular thing.”
Jenner’s sister Kendall Jenner previously walked the Victoria’s Secret runway in 2015, 2016, and 2018, but did not participate in the 2026 event. Kylie Jenner and Chalamet have been publicly dating since 2023.
What remains unknown is the final verified appraisal value of the fully assembled bra beyond its central stone, as well as whether Jenner plans to make any future runway appearances.
